Congratulations on your Korean Lash Lift! This gentle, nourishing treatment gives you a natural, lifted curl without extensions. To keep your lashes looking their best, follow these detailed instructions. Proper care helps maintain the curl, prevents damage, and keeps your lashes healthy.
First 72 Hours (Most Important – Leave Lashes Completely Alone!)
This is the critical period when the lift fully sets. Be extremely gentle and do not get the lashes wet or disturb them in any way.
• Keep lashes completely dry: No water, steam, sweat, showers directly on face, saunas, swimming, or crying (if possible!).
• No washing, rinsing, or cleansing of the lash area at all during this time.
• No touching or rubbing your eyes/lashes.
• Avoid all makeup, especially mascara, eyeliner, or eye creams around the lash line.
• No oil-based products or any serums/creams near lashes.
• Sleep on your back or side – avoid face-down positions that could crush the curl.
• No heat tools (curlers, dryers) near lashes.
Tip: Gently pat (don’t rub) your face dry if needed, but keep water away from the lashes. Leaving them completely alone for these 72 hours is essential for maximum lift retention.
After 72 Hours (Days 4+) – Starting Gentle Care
Once the first 72 hours have passed, you can begin light maintenance while still being protective of your lift.
Daily Cleaning Routine (Use Your Lash Kit – Starting After 72 Hours)
1. Use the lash cleaner with lukewarm water in the rinse bottle.
2. Gently cleanse the lash line – avoid harsh rubbing.
3. Rinse thoroughly with the bottle.
4. Pat dry with a clean towel.
This keeps lashes fresh and free of buildup. Do this as needed, but keep it gentle.
Brushing & Styling
• Use the spoolies/brushes from your kit every morning and as needed (starting after 72 hours).
• Gently brush lashes upward and outward to maintain the lift and separate them.
• Do this with clean, dry lashes for a polished look all day.
Nourishing with Your Cream – Important Instructions
• Do NOT use the nourishing cream until at least 4 days (96 hours) after your procedure.
• When you do start: Apply a tiny amount (less is more!) at night: Dip a clean spoolie or fingertip into the cream, then lightly brush through the lashes.
• Use ONLY twice a week maximum. Overusing the nourishing cream can break down the lash lift bonds over time and cause the curl to relax or drop faster. Please follow this strictly to get the full 6–8 weeks of beautiful lift from your treatment.
Very Important Warning: The nourishing cream is a treat for your lashes when used sparingly. Too much or too soon can soften the results we worked hard to achieve today. A little really does go a long way!
Incorporating Your Lash Growth Serum
• You can start using the lash growth serum after the first 72 hours (once you begin gentle cleaning), as long as it is a water-based, oil-free formula.
• Apply as directed I would put this on in the morning before make up and let dry thin coat
At the base of the lashes gently. Use every other day. Not every day sometimes you can even go every three days.
• This helps support natural lash growth, strength, and health between lifts, complementing your treatment without interfering when used correctly.
• Continue using it consistently for best results, but always pair it with the other guidelines here.
Pro Tip: If lashes feel extra dry, the growth serum can serve as a conditioner between your twice-weekly nourishing cream applications.
Mascara Recommendations
• Preferred Option: Purchase Extreme Lashes mascara from my office. This oil-free formula is specially made for lash extensions and lifts, so it won’t damage or soften your beautiful Korean lash lift.
• If you do not purchase Extreme Lashes from me, always choose an oil-free mascara.
• No waterproof mascara at all – it is too harsh and difficult to remove, which can pull on the lashes and reduce the life of your lift.
• After the first 72 hours, you may wear mascara lightly if desired, but remove it gently each night using your lash cleaner and rinse bottle.
What to Avoid (To Make It Last Longer)
• Oil-based products and overuse of the nourishing cream (stick to twice weekly only).
• Rubbing/picking at lashes.
• Excessive heat/steam: Saunas, steam rooms, long hot showers.
• Sleeping face-down.
• Harsh cleansers or scrubbing.
Lifestyle Tips for Healthier Lashes
• Stay hydrated and eat nutrient-rich foods (biotin, vitamins help natural lash growth).
• Remove eye makeup gently at the end of the day.
• Brush daily to prevent tangles.
• Schedule your next lift in 6–8 weeks for continuous beautiful results.
Common Questions
• Can I wear mascara? Yes, after 72 hours, but use Extreme Lashes (or another oil-free, non-waterproof formula) lightly and remove it gently.
• Will my lashes feel different? They may feel slightly stiffer at first – that’s normal and will soften with proper care.
• What if the curl drops early? This usually means too much moisture, oil/cream overuse, or rubbing – adjust habits and it should hold better next time.
Your lashes are now lifted, nourished, and protected! Treat them like the beautiful feature they are by following these guidelines closely, especially the 72-hour no-water rule, the twice-weekly cream limit, and proper timing for your growth serum.
